Pursuant to Section 339.64(2), Florida Statutes, the Commission, as part of its work program review process, is required to annually assess the progress that the Department and its transportation partners have made in realizing the goals of economic development, improved mobility, and increased intermodal connectivity of the Strategic Intermodal System. The Commission is required to submit a report to the Governor and Legislature with recommendations as necessary to fully implement the Strategic Intermodal System.
The Commission prepared an annual Progress Report on the Implementation of the Strategic Intermodal System for two years as supplements to the respective Review of the Department of Transportation Tentative Work Program. Beginning with the FY 2008/09 through FY 2012/13 tentative work program, Strategic Intermodal System progress is reported in the respective Review of the Department of Transportation Tentative Work Program report and can be accessed by selecting the Review of the Tentative Work Program link below.
